RSWPA Deputy Chief Disciplinary Commission Yagyamani Neupen resigns

Kathmandu, Kartik 1 – Rashtriya Swatantra Party’s Disciplinary Commission Deputy Chief Yagyamani Nyupane has resigned from his post. Nyaupane’s resignation has been confirmed by a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh source.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh source said that ‘Nyopane has submitted his resignation from the post of Deputy Chief of Disciplinary Commission to the party but he has not resigned from the party. The source said that Nyupane had submitted his resignation before Dussehra and Acting General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti informed about its acceptance. Burlakoti has claimed that he has resigned due to his involvement in active politics.
Law practitioner Nyupan has worked in the Disciplinary Commission for about two years. Bharatmani Devkota, the head of the Disciplinary Commission, had worked as the acting chief during his visit to America and Devkota, who was working in the secretariat of the then Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane. During Devkota’s stay in America, the then General Secretary Mukul Dhakal had asked for clarification from the Disciplinary Commission.
According to the law, the 11-member Disciplinary Commission currently has a four-member working committee after Nayupan’s resignation.
