Kathmandu, Kartik 2 – Israel has claimed to have killed Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind behind the October 7 attacks last year. After this news, US President Joe Biden said that this is a ‘good day’ for Israel and the world. President Biden noted that US intelligence has helped the Israel Defense Forces ‘relentlessly’ pursue Hamas leaders. He also said that Israel has ‘full right’ to eliminate terrorists.
The US President said the killing of the mastermind of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 last year once again proves that no terrorist anywhere in the world can escape justice, no matter how long it takes. Biden said that for my Israeli friends, this is undoubtedly a day of relief that they will always remember.
Biden said that now the path to agreement will also open in Gaza. The US President also said that this is an opportunity for a better future for both Israelis and Palestinians. Yahya Sinwar was an insurmountable obstacle to achieving all those goals. That barrier no longer exists. But a lot of work remains before us.

Speaking about the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7 last year, Biden said that Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans and citizens of more than 30 countries. They said he was the mastermind of the October 7 massacre, rape and kidnapping. It was on his orders that Hamas terrorists deliberately (and with unimaginable brutality) attacked Israel, killing civilians, children in front of their parents, and parents in front of their children, committing genocide. Biden further described the attack as ‘the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust.’
